After several disappointing attempts to obtain an original spring-loaded toppleball tee and base, I have concluded that they just don't make 'em anymore. Since the original toppleball tees do not seem to exist any longer, it is senseless to go out and spend $80+ on a toppleball "set" anymore. However, I have located a substitute tee that will work just fine. This tee comes with a rubber ball, but I suggest purchasing a wiffle ball to go on top of the tee. Tether the wiffle ball to the tee with some string.

In addition to the tee, toppleball paddles are also available for individual sale. For the ball, I recommend the Wilson Soft Touch Synthetic ball. It's not expensive (so replacing it when it pops - and it will - is not a big deal), it won't hurt if you get accidentally drilled by a throw, and it won't fly to the moon on a monster hit. It'll still go plenty far, but you won't be chasing it forever. (One other tip: don't inflate it to normal volleyball pressure, or sections of the cover will rupture very quickly, leaving you with an egging ball.)

All of the recommended equipment is listed and linked at right, and it's all available through Amazon.com. Other things that might be helpful are low-profile cones to mark the circle and batting box, if you are playing somewhere that does not allow field liner.
